There's science that contradicts your opinion. I don't like it either, but it is what it is.

Still listen to me please, a yeast infection is not like an STD, in fact a yeast infection isn't considered a sexually transmitted infection because it happens in women who aren't sexually active..

I think what he is saying is that there is research that suggests that oral sex increases the chances of the infection occuring. I will say that in all my time with my GF she has only gotten it once, and I have spent sick amounts of time down there.

I've never had a yeast infection Something and neither has my G/F,, I think research is based on opinion rather than fact.

Still, I owe you an apology I did some research into the subject, and it looks like I may have been wrong on some points, first it is possible for a woman to pass on a yeast infection to another woman through oral sex, however first one of the women would have to have a yeast infection, and she would know if she did,, if the other woman was still willing to go down on her, she 'could' get what's called thrush mouth from doing it..

So I was wrong,, I hope you see this post...

No need to apologize. I've seen multiple papers on it and still don't like it. I don't think they're showing what you say, that it's being passed back and forth.

One of the studies is: "Candida Transmission and Sexual Behaviors as Risks for a Repeat Episode of Candida Vulvovaginitis." Another is "Sexual Behaviors and Other Risk Factors for Candida Vulvovaginitis."

I'm not trying to rain on your parade. I was truly curious as we've had to adjust our own practices because of this. We're really careful to make sure no saliva get's near my wife's vagina because she seems to be affected by it even if neither of us has any infection. If it's not a problem for you all then a study is not going to make it so. I just wondered what the experience was.

Well I don't know what the experience would be like, like I said, neither my G/F or myself has ever had a yeast infection,, but I can't believe two women would be stupid enough allow it to happen

1, the woman with the infection would know it.
2, the woman going down on her would pick up on the odor in a heartbeat.

Please let me make something clear, there are only two reasons why a Va-Jay-Jay would smell bad.

                  1. the girl/woman knows nothing at all about feminine hygiene.
                  2. She has an infection...

                  It's really that simple.

That has been my experience as well .... on the positive side. In my many years of engaging in cunnilingus, I've never experienced a "bad smelling" V. Each woman has her own scent and taste and it is wonderful.

I have never had issues with yeast infections. But my SO is prone to bladder infections. When we first got together, she would get them fairly regularly after a few days of rigorous activity. There was one night in Vegas when she woke up her GYN (in California) and I took a cab at 3:00 am to find an all night pharmacy.

Yeah Effy, none of us smell or taste exactly the same, we have an individual aroma and taste, that's part of the mystery of being a woman..

Do you know why your SO was is getting bladder infections ??
