The whole numbers thing is relative tho, as you can see just from reading thru this thread. But no, you're right, as long as you're having some sort of sex fairly regularly, lack of masturbation would not be terribly odd imo. Humans are inherently sexual tho, so if there were no sex and no masturbation, I would say that's abnormal. That's not to say those people aren't out there either, but I tend to think they have issues. (I guess asexuality is a fairly standard identification, but at the risk of sounding judgmental I don't think it's exactly 'normal.')

I do it maybe once or twice a month. Just not that big of a deal to me. Much like someone who has an extremely high sex drive could never imagine doing it once or twice a month I could never imagine doing it 3 or 4 times a day.

There is no such thing as a 'standard' for normal though as that is entirely subjective, however I believe there is an 'abnormal' as in the far ends of each side. Abnormal does not mean crazy or have a negative connotation or anything it simply refers to "not the norm"...the norm is not several times a day nor is it zero times a month. To me both types of cases are considered abnormal, again simply because they are on the opposite sides of the spectrum. Somewhere there is a true average/normal but that would need a survey of every single woman on the planet lol....and each one honestly answering and that ain't happening.

Could it be possible that a women that haven't had sex in a few months doesn't feel the need to masturbate? Im just very curious to know if my wife masturbates or not. It's possible she doesn't ....it's generally a mistake to compare your own sexuality against another's and think they should be similar, especially if you're different sexes. That said, it strikes me as unlikely. If you're having intimacy issues, I would suspect that may have something to do with her lack of sexual activity as opposed to some generic frigidity on her part.

I agree 3 or 4 times a day masturbating suits me. I always use my fingers as I like all the cum over them, I like the silkiness. I have gone from a low sex drive to a high one in the last 6 months.
