It's funny because I spend a while yesterday looking at some porn clips specifically to estimate the size of those penises. Most guys in those videos I would estimate are around 6-8", but they are usually very skinny and have small pelvises, so what they have in comparison to the rest of their body, looks HUGE.

I'm very close to 6", but I'm a large guy (bodybuilder) so what I have looks smaller on me.

I also bumped into an interesting thread on one of the penis enhancement boards I frequent. Someone had an interesting tidbit. They said we should measure our forearm from the elbow to the wrist and see how much that is. I measured mine and it measures exactly 10"

I then looked at my forearm afterward and though "wow a penis as long as my forearm would be humongous!" A flaccid hang that was 10" would hang to my knees.

So I highly doubt that the OP actually wants 10" penises. She probably saw dudes with 7" and thinks thats huge.

And the lady from the other thread who measured her husband at 9 1/2", I honestly look at my forearm and wonder how the heck do you fit all that in?

People like all sorts of things. Certainly some women have an interest in enormous penises. Same way that some men like women with enormous breasts - or heavy women, or whatever. All good - its find for people to have all sorts of interests and fantasies. Often they are just fantasies - I'm sure that there are women who fantasize about donkey-sized dongs, but who would not actually enjoy sex with someone who had one. Same way most men wouldn't REALLY enjoy being a sex slave to the entire Danish women's beach volleyball team - however much fun it might be to think about.

No, I believe fantasies are a way for the human mind to deal with what it can't have in reality.

What I do agree with is that some people have strange fantasies that they conditioned their minds to like but probably didn't start out that way.

I think that a lot of fantasies really are just intended as fantasies - people know that they wouldn't be fun in real life.

              Ok, well let's define fantasy:

              1. The creative imagination; unrestrained fancy.
              2. Something, such as an invention, that is a creation of the fancy.
              3. A capricious or fantastic idea; a conceit.
              4.
              a. Fiction characterized by highly fanciful or supernatural elements.
              b. An example of such fiction.
              5. An imagined event or sequence of mental images, such as a daydream, usually fulfilling a wish or psychological need.
              6. An unrealistic or improbable supposition.

#5 probably being the most relevant to the topic here.

Simply, a fantasy is what you wish you could have without the problems or side effects that it would bring about. I fantasize about flying all the time. The closest I ever get to do it in reality is when flying on a commercial airliner. The ideal would be to fly like superman. Reality stops me from being able to do it.

So I agree that people's fantasies are usually things that they know in real life wouldn't work. I don't believe that they wouldn't act on them were they given the chance to without repercussions.

I'd say that there is a lot of range in the "seriousness" of fantasies. I might fantasize about say having a 3some with my wife and another woman. If there were no repercussions, it is something I might try and enjoy. I don't do it because in the real world there ARE repercussions and side effects that make it a bad idea.

On the other hand I might fantasize about being forced into sex by a bunch of beautiful women. This is a fine kinky fantasy (for me), but it is not something I would actually want to do in real life even if the opportunity was there - not just because it is impractical, but because in reality it would not be fun.

Even some fairly harmless sounding fantasies aren't much fun in real life - meadows are damp and cold, beaches have sand getting everywhere (yikes!), and strangers are likely to know a whole lot less about how to please you than your normal partner does. That doesn't keep all of these from being common fantasies

In a similar vein a woman (or man) might fantasize about being with a lover with an enormous penis, even though in real life it would be uncomfortable.

Of course there are some women who really do enjoy large penises. There are women (and men) who really do enjoy being fisted. These are the minority, and for most women the most pleasurable sex is with someone of average size. (to the extent that sex matters at all).

rocoreyus, I don't think all women want 10", that's ridiculously huge. I'm actually surprised that there really are men this large.

As with everything, perception can sometimes trump reality. It's not necessarily about being big, but looking big to the woman.

I do think, as the original poster seems to fit into my view, that for women, if it looks larger than average, in her mind it will "feel" more pleasurable.

That's all I'm saying. And I believe in general the size # is in between 6" and 8" depending on the woman. The original poster probably saw some 8" wieners, and she believes they are 10".

So the ideal would be to be 8", so that the women you run into that still think you're small are the really obsessed with size, which is probably in the decimal place percentage. 7" I'm willing to bet would look large to 60% of the women, medium sized to 30%, and average to 9%, with 1% thinking it is small (again, the ones obsessed with huge). I can believe that 5" would be acceptable to women, but is probably a tad shorter than what they hoped for. 4" and 3" would be seen as small, no matter what anyone says. Sure the woman can "love" a man that size, but that guy will have to learn how to compensate for a lot of what he can't provide that woman.

Why can't anyone admit this? It's like everyone is trying to tell me there's no difference between 3" and 8" and women won't even notice there is a difference. Why can't we just be honest?

Why has no one mentioned girth? To me girth is far more satisfying than length, I think most people forget this part. The best sex I ever had was with a guy that was probably only 5 inches, but he was really wide. Who wants a massive dong banging on their uterus - not me!

Obelisk, can you imagine living in a world where you don't know how long and thick your penis is? I measured my length in my early-mid teens and I don't remember how I did it or what the reading was. That was probably 20+ years ago. I never even knew that circumference was measured until I got to this site.
