My sex therapist had suggested to see her again in a month but i was so eager to get somewhere that I said I wanted to see her in two weeks. But I emailed her this morning agreeing to the month appointment instead. I would turn into an alcoholic if I did that homework assignment every night!! I need some space between to also try without alcohol. Besides, the way things are going lately, there is no reason to rush it. No guy will be jumping in my bed any time soon.

I do wish I could press a button and the holidays would just pop away. For the first time I was actually looking forward to them this year but now I just wish they were already over.

Find ways to make them special for yourself. Traditionally - I'm talking way back - the Yule and Solstice were ways of enlivening the dark time of the year. You can create your own traditions. Get together with family and/or friends, make a feast and invite everyone, especially those who may not get out much. Get yourself a few fun accessories for winter, some nice matching hats and gloves, funny earrings, jingley socks? Put some goofy bumper stickers on your car - I just got a couple new ones, something to make people smile or wonder....

And keep working on your sensuality. Ever read the book, Eat, Pray, Love or Water For Chocolate? They are both wonderful. How about the movie Chocolat or Tuscan Sun?

WC, Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel, is that the right book? It looks like a Mexican romance book. I'm curious, why this book?

Then the other one is Eat Pray and Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I think it is but I wanted to make that was the right book.

I saw Chocolat with John Depp about a year ago. I remember a little about it but not much. I saw Under the Tuscan Sun a long time ago. i don't remember much of that one either.

That's alright. You've got yourself for jumping in your bed. Get to know your own body and mind before you give someone else a tour.

Water For Chocolate is about the intense sensual connection of emotion and food. It is also about a level of love and desire that can transcend all boundries.

That is the Eat Pray Love, which is about her journey to discover her sensuality, spirituallity and finally the combination of the two in love.

Chocolat has so much depth, it is really about living our lives, transcending our limits - which are mostly self imposed, and finding pleasure in all if it.

Tuscan Sun is a beautiful sensual movie about finding love in different ways than we thought we might.

Latest porno came today but I haven't watched them yet. I still can't believe I'm ordering this kind of stuff. lol

Eat, Love, and Pray was easy to find but Like Water for Chocolate was not. I could have got it out of the library but would rather own it. I said hard but not impossible. It is back ordered but will be coming eventually.

You should be able to get it from Amazon.

WC, I ended up getting it at Borders.

Amazon and other places have this book that is called Like Water for Chocolate, A Novel in Monthly Installments with Recipes, Romances, and Home Remedies. As far as I could tell, it is not the whole story. It came out about eight years after the original. I could be wrong though. But the one I did get was the full story. It is back order but I will get it in a few weeks or so.

Nope, I spent most of the time with this couple. They had met each other in a speed dating night. For some reason it didn't bother me to see them together as a couple. They were down to earth and nice to talk to.

I did meet one guy who reminded me an older version of Daniel Radcliffe. And I say older because I don't think Radcliffe is older than 21. Anyways, he knew his football which was good. But he wasn't a big fan because the guy actually left in the third quarter. He said he wanted to get home so he could catch the entire evening game. I'm like what? If you are any kind of a fan, you watch the entire game of your own team. Who cares if you miss the beginning of someone else game.

Despite his mixed up view of football , he was nice but very quiet. So either one of three things, no interested at all, which I respect his choice. But something tells me it was more than just that. I'm thinking he was either shy or just a bore.

Sorry but I can't help it. I always knew that I wanted a guy who has a good sense of humor. I love to laugh and there has been plenty of lousy times in my life, that laughing was missing. It is a must for me. Before I met my ex, when I met other guys, after a while, I thought I was just looking for the impossible. I thought it was very immature of me to think that you can find a mature guy who had a joking side to him. But that is exactly what my ex was like. He was very mature when it came to his job and when time warranted it. But there were plenty of times we would be together and we could just tease each other and joke around. I felt very comfortable with him and loved that side of him.

I kept every email he ever sent me. Why because I'm a pack rat and after a while, I set up a folder with his name on it. I would store them in there. He preferred emailing over phone calls and there were nights that we would just email right back and forth. Maybe thirty emails in a night. And we would tease and joke with each other. I have changed the title of that email folder because just seeing his name hurts. But I figure some day, when I finally get over him, I may enjoy reading them and getting some laughs and good memories from them. And if for some reason, I don't want to keep them, I can delete them then. Right now I think that is just too hasty of a decision. I just don't go in there anymore.

Yep, I know he is gone but I can't help but wonder. It is immature of me to think I can find a guy who has a good sense of humor. Someone I can just tease and joke around with him but also he can be mature when needed.

Tex, are you the only guy left out there like that. Don't worry, that wasn't a come on. I just wonder if there are other guys like you and my ex out there or am I asking for too much. So far all of the guys I have met since I broke up with my ex have put me to sleep. And I can honestly say that is not because I'm comparing them to my ex and no one will hold up. No, they will no hold up because they don't have a sense of humor.

On another note, I watched one of my new porn last night. Didn't like it. I guess I am a strange one but it didn't keep me interested. Just guys sitting or laying down, touching his chest and then touching his private parts. I guess that would make some women drool. I don't know. It did nothing for me.
