In my opinion that's more like playing the victim. If something went wrong and even if you consider yourself to blame, everybody deserves to be happy. We all make mistakes and the point is to learn from them, not to hit ourselves on the head with it and make ourselves suffer.
By the way, I believe we've all blamed something or someone in our lives for something. Not cause we're bad but human.
Remember you said at one point this had something to do with your orthodox upbringing. Their you go, that's putting your decisions on something .
