This is just my personal opinion on it though and she may not feel that same way, but if my husband said "If you don't start having more sex with me then I will leave you or cheat" then I would say "see ya later" because that just sounds like a control thing. I understand you want to be happy, but it comes down to have sex or I leave? I don't blame her.

    AGREEEEED!

I'm on Welbutrin (don't recall if it's standard or XL) and Remeron (aka: Mirtzapine). Initially, the Remeron was prescribed to combat the loss of libidio due to Zoloft. I had suggested it in the hospital becaus I'd had success with it in the past. After about a year I chose to try Welbutrin to help with my AD/HD.
Off original topic ..Hey you mentioned Mirztapine and I looked it up. Do you or does anyone know how well it works for panic attacks and anxiety -in one place I saw it listed for generalize anxiety , panic attacks and nausea -I get panic attacks and have emetophobia, so if it works on both it would be great. But are you also saying it raised your libido. (right now I'd be happy if mine were lowered.) I don't know if it is related but my libido seems higher when I started taking Klonipin, but other things are at play as well.

I'm not sure if Mirtzapine is for anxiety. In my case it was prescribed in a small dosage (15mg) for sleep and to cut the sexual side effects of Zoloft I was taking at the time. I was on Klonopin for very short period all I wanted to do was sleep. More power to ya, if it helps your libido

If I'd known about WH I may have avoided my Lexapro years" all together. It caused more problems than it solved. We experienced five years of pure, unadulterated hell because my psychiatrist was determined to treat both my AD/HD and depression with a single medication. While successfully ignoring my insinuations and outright complaints about what it had done to my libido and by extension to my marriage. And finally completely minimizing said insinuations and complaints by telling me that " there are books to help with that." Good bedside manner, not so much. God complex most definitely.
