Yes, Islam also does not encourage homosexuality, although I think lesbianism is not as frowned upon, at least in my limited observation.

Your brother is a Muslim? Wow, I didn't know that, lol. I'm guessing he wasn't born into a Muslim family, but embraced the faith later on, a process your brother most likely refers to as "reversion" rather than "conversion".

Yeah, he's Sunni. I don't know what terminology he uses, but you're probably right. No, he was not raised as a Muslim. My father and stepmother weren't very religious while they were raising him. Now my father is a pastor of his own church and he's not the most tactful man. It makes for some tension. My brother and I get along quite well, though. We agree on a lot. Our views on Jesus are more alike in some ways than a lot of the right-wing Christians you mentioned.
Curiously, the Mosaic Law is not explicitly anti-lesbian either. It's not even really explicitly anti-fornication for two unmarried, unengaged people. It just discourages it with other laws. Christianity is a lot more explicit in forbidding any extramarital sex."Those sowing seed with tears
Will reap with a joyful shout." - Psalm 126Comment

And, by the way, oral is not a problem either. She showers, wears a tampon and I can have my fun with her clitoris (well, and other parts, but that is for a different thread). She is very sensitive during her period and the orgasms are intense (so she says and acts). No need for a period to alter anyone's sexual appetite.[/QUOTE]
I agree completely....yes it can be messy but it's worth it. Having orgasms during my period always helps with the cramps. I've been lucky that no man I have ever been with has been put off by my period and you're right - a shower then a tampon and you're good to go for oral sex.Comment
