I don't think it is ever a dealbreaker as long as it is in the ballpark and any guy of average size should be in the ballpark, therefore they see it as a non-issue. There are the rare occasions when a guy is either real large or small, in these cases there may be a problem. I also think that there is a disconnect with penis size and depth of penetration. I often hear it cited that the g-spot is only 2-3 inches in and accessible for all, but if one or both have afew extra pounds, even a 5"-6" penis may have trouble reaching that depth in a lot of positions.
Two thoughts. First, where are you getting your information regarding your last senetence?

Second, most women have comment in scientific surveys that size does not matter, even when a male is not in the ballpark.

Scientific study after study oulines that this view of a 10-11 inch penis is mythical. Really large would be more like 8 inches, possibole 9 at the most. Scientific studies randomyl select people and have outside experts measure. I suppose there could be like a one in a million change -- there is also the possiblility that the moon could crash into the Earth. It is not that because I have not seen it, it does not mean it does not occur. Being that I am a heteorsexual male, I have only seen a handful of erect penises. I have only watch pornogrpahy a few times -- like 20 years ago, but study after study in media education outline how pornography (in all venues, including online) creates fake images. I beleive it mythical because study after study report in medical and health journals -- where medical researchers actually measure it -- reports that its almost impossible to have that type of size in controlled measures (not some boyfrined telling a girlfried who then tells others)

Penis size for woman is the same as breast size for men, it doesn't really matter how big the size, you till get the job done. Some men rather a woman to have big breasts bc they are fun to play with and visually a turn on. Same for women and a large penis. Visually a turn on but really has nothing to do with the sex. Just bc a man knows what cup size their girl/wife has doesn't mean he really cares how big or small they are? Geezzz

Penis size has nothing to do with, nor should an analog be made to, breast size. Penis size should only be related to vagina size/tightness. Both equate to a physical sensation and response, and are not solely visual. Sensation does not imply better or worse, but physical differences. Kegels can be done to improve strength and enhance sensation of tightness when the muscles are used to clench, but do not result in a change in size.

Surely you realize that for some people with extra weight you are not going to achieve full penetration, there fore only 3 out of 5 gets in or whatever. I think you can see by the threads listed that women only have a problem with size when it is too big or small. Most women have men af average size and therefore report that they don't care about size. If they are trying to work with 2" or 9" they care and look for advice on how to deal with it.

I've tried to make light of this thread, but it appears really, anyone's answer is "no" followed by "maybe".

Then there are a few comments that are urking me one mainly being:-

My plan is to not spend as much time on post at this website because I am swamped in other areas of my life, like work and family. But I keep getting sucked into conversations.
? That's the second time you've addressed that. And, I can not see where it is conversation, rather replies that aren't being listened to, it's almost as if you are doing a survey and using this Forum to strengthen your resolve yet, the answer has been made very clear, thy penis is not a problem, no matter what size, the difference of feelings can vary from the way he moves it, where it reaches, his in-adequacy of knowledge, lustful stages of a relationship verses making love, to people clowning around and comparing because they are either horny and see a coke bottle that reminds them of their man's penis and the want of him, or the man himself jokes around, or tells her his size, or she in lust mucks around... There are "no" mixed messages.....

You can not make blanket statements either, you yourself confirm you rarely watch porn, you are male, you don't go around checking out penises to see actual sizes but you read and research and read and research on the said subject as much as you do on breasts? In any event now you have a member telling you, she knows of a penis over 9 inches it is possible.

Claws welcome to the Forum Exactly, doesn't our brain yurn knowledge? Didn't curiousity kill the cat? Because we have no idea what is in those pants when we first meet a guy and we are about to have sex for the first time, aren't we curious? They are all different after all

I think maleview's paragraph is just common sense, off course if both parties or one is over weight it's harder to negotiate position......And, not everyone "studies" for answers most people learn through life experiences. And he is correct, most men are in the ballpark that is that most men are classified as 'average'...
                ItsASecret
I think you over-thinking this to a huge degree. Maybe it is just me but you seem to continually try to find a different opinion on everything to say "but but no this cannot be true because ____ said this ______ and now this means there are different messages which does not make sense". If a woman says a number, say because she was taught in school how to visually size things, then she is saying the number...because that number is representative of what that object is and she knows what that number is. If someone asks "how big is that?" and the correct answer to the size of whatever object is 9.5 inches you say 9.5 inches. If a woman answers a number she is saying a number simply because she knows it (again say because her SO said the number to her already) and not always deriving some complex meaning behind it.
                Exactly my thoughts.

So maybe some of the women here (and obviously men) need to stop staying exact sizes and only use vague language related to issue related to size. .
? Why.. We are who we are, ItsASecret has pointed out, that's how we all work, alot of us, using numbers how we were taught...Why the heck would I say oh he is around um vague thingy, in length? Or whatever, who the heck is going to understand me?

Lastly, pulling comments of posters who are having difficulty, in a good way or bad way, where those posters have just met someone, are in lust, getting used to each other's bodies, working out why this is occuring, enjoying obviously the lustful ride has nothing to do with your "mixed message" arguement which to me there is no arguement as there is no mixed messages. They are getting used to a new partner, new experiences, you are all different, you all move differently and that's just to start with.

I can see people quoting Geez, or is it just me or? Or man to man listen.....or no I never said that.

I'm not sure if this thread really needs to even continue...You yourself, said you don't really want to visit our site very much you're busy, yet your answers seem to be "no, we are wrong" why bother?

Little has to reply yet Given you posed a question to her...But honestly, I'm not visiting this thread as a poster anymore, only for Moderation.

Whilst I have tried to make "light" of the initial question, I don't like the way in which people and this Forum are being basically "put down" as giving mixed messages when in reality they are just talking of their own personal experiences...

                  CW:

If I follow your thinking – that all I need to know is one’s experience – I could find one person who smoked 3 packets of cigarettes a day who lived to 100 and could conclude that smoking does not have any relationship to cancer.

Perhaps you do not like the way the tread is going, I find it quite fascinating and have actually learned much related to (1) most women do not care about size (and a few do), (2) there can be some fun and curiosity related behavior related to size and that measuring may not be related to bigger is better and could be just a fun thing, and (3) some people are basing information based on indivudal experience, which begins and ends with oneself with no connection to broader knowedge.

I honestly find this thread quite fascinating and just because it does not jive with you is no reason to try to end it. I honestly do not see any put downs, I have sure learned much and find it interesting (and that is why I keep getting sucked back into it).

Perception and satisfaction is all that matters.
95% of the females I have been with brag or make comments on a nice size I have and how pleasing it is. My wife is the only person to ever say "it is alright, no biggy I been with alot bigger". LOL why is it sucha big deal to some, and not others.
I think that 6" to7" is normal, girth should make a difference though between pleasure or pain.
