I've seen and interacted with at least 10 but far less than 100 erect penises in my day - double digits. Excuse me while I swell with pride. All different shapes and sizes, I suppose up to around 9 inches and varying girths. I couldn't tell you stats on each penis, even though I'm sure every man supplied them. I probably couldn't even tell you whether most were large, average, or small.
Knowing sizes is probably best explained by human curiosity. But I guess it's a personal election to believe that people are in general good, no matter how curious they are. Just as we are not all totally innocent to sizing the things we see around us, we are not all size queens who refuse to sleep with a man under 23 inches long (and you newbies won't get that joke, but we 100% had a poster who insisted she was with men 23"+ all the time. Inches, not centimeters. Good times.)
Nature gives us shapeless shapes,
Clouds and waves and flame,
But human expectation is that love remains the same,
And when it doesn’t, we point our fingers and blame.
Register|Contact Admin|Email Admin
Comment

Ah yes .... I remember quite well. Anonymous' drawing illustrating the issue was a hoot.Just as we are not all totally innocent to sizing the things we see around us, we are not all size queens who refuse to sleep with a man under 23 inches long (and you newbies won't get that joke, but we 100% had a poster who insisted she was with men 23"+ all the time. There is a method to my madness ........ I just haven't found it yet.Comment

Thanks for your reply – a really interesting and wise one!
Your reply, coupled with others, makes me think that the take home message thus far in this discussion is three fold
First, for most women, penis size is irrelevant, but there still is a curiosity element to it. That makes sense to me. Similarity, if some guy stated he really was over 9 inches, I would be curious to see it for myself and I do not think it would wound my view of my own manhood (meaning both my overall self esteem and what I have between the legs). I believe I have overcome an immature state of thinking I needed to be bigger to be a real man – but sadly many men (and some women) are still at this level of thinking/ego development. I can see how curiosity can be motivator to women who measured size and I can see how this can be done in a fun way – not a true belief way of finding out size to further outline that bigger is better. However, I can also see how men may not see this as women, which is simple curiosity and how some men – sadly - -would become mortally wounded if they can up short. It is something deeply ingrained in North American men.
With this said though, I can see how a woman could also use “simply curiosity” and “just fun” to really find out, also.
Second, your message about the women who would not sleep with a man under 23 inches, at least to me, underscores the notion that people make up size. And this is something I fundamentally think. In no way do I mean to put lizzard down – but I am certain that if her boyfriend was to be measured by researchers, it would probably be lower measurement than 9.5 inches. Maybe I am wrong, but study after study outlines that men and supporting girlfriends/wife overestimate size and then actually believe they are bigger than what they are. Part of the reason some normally sized men feel inadequate is because people tell their size, misjudge it as bigger and then tell others it as a fact.
Third, I really like your thought to assume that most people are good. Thanks for the reminder.
In trying to outline mixed messages I hope I was not making anyone feel “less than” and if so, please accept my apology. But I do think there are mixed messages and I do think that some posters felt uncomfortable with me outlining such mixed messages. And perhaps many of those mixed messages lies with simply human curiosity. Like I said, there is a part of me that would not want to see another man’s erect penis, but another part of me that would be curious related to seeing something mythical.Comment

Troop, why do you feel badly that someone thinks perception and satisfaction are more important than a number?
Nature gives us shapeless shapes,
Clouds and waves and flame,
But human expectation is that love remains the same,
And when it doesn’t, we point our fingers and blame.
Register|Contact Admin|Email Admin
Comment

That doesn't have anything to do with what Dlanier said ... unless you mean to say this whole thread makes you feel badly.
People have the right to decide what's important to them in a relationship. Penetrative sex is probably the most important sexual quality for me in a relationship - so I wouldn't be able to stay in a relationship with a man who was significantly below average (I imagine this would entail 3" or less.) But there are lots of women out there to whom penetrative sex is not so important, to whom oral or manual sex is the last word. Maybe you should be pursuing relationships with these women, Troop.
But regardless of another person's preferences concerning penis size in a partner, only you can control how you feel about your own penis size. This is a body part whose size cannot be easily changed, and anybody who disparages you for it is short-sighted and downright mean. The women who cheated on you and told you it was because of your size probably had their own issues, but chose to dump on you instead of addressing them. Don't punish yourself because of their immaturity.
Nature gives us shapeless shapes,
Clouds and waves and flame,
But human expectation is that love remains the same,
And when it doesn’t, we point our fingers and blame.
Register|Contact Admin|Email Admin
Comment
