Judgmental men exist in all cultures, but I think some cultures have a higher proportion than others.

It's easy to find someone in America or Europe that's okay with pre-marital sex. Some people here may even say adult virgins past 30 are rare. In another country, you could easily find a lot of people that are against women having pre-marital sex.

The males and females that have such views towards sex are the ones in their 20's. After 30, who has the time to gossip and care?
There are older men that are just as bad as the bad younger men. Hopefully you will meet older men who haven't wasted those extra years rather will have worked at understanding, being accepting and figuring out how to warm a woman up. I wonder if you previous position had a lot to do with older men being closer to your father's age.

Does anyone know a couple where the woman was very sexual, but the man still cheated? I came across an article where lack of sex, lack of sexual skills, or sexual adventurousness are the most common reasons as to why men cheat?

In my last relationship, I suggested all of these things to my ex and he said no.

Yes, maybe it's just a woman who is more attractive to him, even if his wife is very sexual. I've been with women who were very sexual but just lost my attraction to her. Nothing wrong with her just I wanted to move on to someone else because I lost my feelings for her. this might sound cold but you can't help the way you feel. Although I have to admit, it is very hard to leave a sexual woman. Maybe you might say it's piggish but sometimes you hang on longer just for the sex. On the other hand he might cheat just for sex with a different woman. I think every man I know at least fantasizes about that.

It's weird. I had an ex that cheated on me when I was 18. This ex came back to me months later BEGGING me to have sex with him. College gossip (from other friends) said he cheated on me b/c I couldn't take anal sex properly. Apparently, he found a girl that knew how to take rough anal sex and went off with her. What I don't get is why would you cheat on me, and then come back to me? Especially when you think you've found a girl that's better than me? This guy was pestering me for months to have sex with him long after we broke up. I don't like doing this, but I had to tell him "I'm not attracted to you. That's why I don't want to have sex with you."

It's just bizarre when a man cheats on you and then comes back to you begging.

I think one reason people cheat is that they are looking for more / better / different sex. It is absolutely not the only reason. I'd say that makes it less likely , but not at all impossible that someone with a good sexual partner would cheat. I know that a lack of sex at home is the only thing that ever tempted me to cheat.

                Magnetism,
I had the same thing happen to me. When I was 18 my bf of 2 yrs cheated on me. We broke up, but after a few months he started calling me again asking if I wanted to fool around and start being friends. Um, NO! I was still attracted to him, but for all I knew he was going to use me to cheat on someone else.

Not really bizarre at all. One thing I've found that most woman do not seem to understand is men want sex,,period. He will go where he can get it in the future or has gotten it in the past if he thinks there is a remote chance of getting it . It is an overwhelming drive. Men won't admit it to woman because they don't want to come off as some sort of pervert or pig or whatever a woman will call him. Men do not need a connection, attraction, love or relationship to have sex. Very different from most women. What stops men from pursuing every woman he has a mind to is , society frowns on it, morals, afraid of getting caught, destroying family. Through out history,In societies where man as a Casanova or Don Juan is more accepted , you will see a corresponding increase in attached men having affairs or mistresses.

I really don't think this is a gender issue at all. The percent of men who cheat versus women is only slightly higher. From a society view point, I do think men get away with it versus women will be labelled for cheating.

People cheat for various reasons and being in a relationship with a partner who had a different sexual drive is only one factor. Most people who cheat do so for other reasons - the thrill, dissatisfaction with current relationship (non-sexual reasons), that's just their personality, they don't respect their current parnters, have no control of their urges, etc. Of all the people that I knew who cheated, non of them did so because their partner was not sexual enough.

The idea that men are more sexual or just want sex with no emotional attachements is a stereotype. True, many men are like that, but so are many women. And there are just as many men who don't want sex unless coupled with emotions. Its true that there are more men cheating, having sex just to have sex, have highter sex drives, etc, but that number is not that much higher than women. Its just that we live in a society that makes us believe that is the case.

Women want sex too, but not with someone they're not attracted to. By rejecting my ex, I was telling him nicely "I will have sex with someone else, but not you." I feel that any man with self-respect will not waste his time with a woman that's not interested him. With the millions of women out there in the world, I just don't see why you would beg the one woman that's not interested in you.

Healthy sex is when two people consent and like each other. I have male friends that feel that they're raping someone when they know that the woman isn't enjoying it, or if they know that the woman has no attraction to them.

I agree with sp that women are just as likely to be sexual and are just as likely to cheat. There are men that would prefer sex with love, and there are traumatized/depressed men that have no sex drives.
