I was being a bit more careful: I'm saying that MEN seem much more concerned about penis size then women. This makes is a bigger issue for gay men (since only men are involved) than for lesbian women (where only women are involved).

To the size concerned, consider the logic:

    1. For any woman there is probably some size that is too big. (very few women want to have sex with a stalliion). So beyond some point bigger is not better

    2. When buying sex toys, women get to pick the size they want independent of everything else. They are just buying a penis (for one common type of sex toy). Since they are often using these in private they are not worried about hurting anyone's feelings.

    3. Shops will stock whatever sells.

    4. The sex toys that online sex shops sell are mostly of average size.

SO: doesn't it follow logically that when they have a preference at all, most women tend to choose average size?

Problem is, you never know which woman you'll end up with. So it become a lottery game in the end.

JNS, I just don't want women to look at me right now and think "hmm, he's kinda small". At 7" only the size queens are likely to think that.

From a lot of online searching, it seems that guys who are around 7" usually start getting comments like "wow you're pretty big" without scaring them that it will hurt.

I used to be a heavy bodybuilder, and at my biggest, my arms were around 18". I still felt small when going to the gym, there are always some HUGE guys in there.

But when walking on the street or on public transit, I noticed how much bigger I looked compared to regular people. It's at that point that I realized "the goal isn't to be the biggest mofo on the planet, but to be bigger than average so you can stand out"

I've lost a bit of size due to an injury, but my arms are still 17.5" and that's not huge, but enough that people notice.

That's what I want penis wise. I honestly have no interest in being 9 1/2". I'm also glad I'm not tiny, like 3-4". But an extra inch or two certainly would get me above average. I know I'd have less anxiety about my size at that point.

Google "size queen" and find out what it really means.

What I think you're not getting is that, maybe I wouldn't be disappointed. It's not the size that makes the sex good...that's the point I'm trying to get across. Besides that, most women can't orgasm just by penile penetration anyway, so that relieves a lot of the pressure on men for having to be big. That's another reason why it doesn't matter a whole lot the size.

I think visually you might be disappointed, which is what I've been saying all along. I know that most women can't orgasm from penetration alone, but the visual of a larger penis is probably going to help you get there quicker.

Also I understand that up to a certain size it probably doesn't matter. Like going from 9 1/2" to 7" is probably not going to be very noticeable. Going to 4" or even 3" probably will be very noticeable.

Well anyway, I've already gained a 1/4 of an inch from stretching. It looks there really is something to that PE stuff. Even if I only gain 1" I'll be happy, but 2" would be awesome and I wouldn't feel inferior anymore
