(I know you're not suggesting we try to do that, just addressing the 'cosmic injustice' of it all. ) You win on monthly pain and suffering, we win on orgasm frequency, etc. So it goes.
Fairness was never an issue -- I'm just an observer of life. Women have suffered through greater inequality for thousands of years. Just hate to see women to totally give up on men because of the bad apples. Despite your love of women, it does not appear that you will give up your male SO.

Nope! And tbh I think there's one out there for kitty too. I love that she's opening up her options (I've had romantic relationships with women too), but I have a feeling she'll find herself a guy in the end.

Whoa, hold on folks. I am in no way giving up on men...not even considering them less or looking less for a good guy...just broadening my perspective and opening up to the possibility that I COULD have a happy, healthy and fulfilling relationship with a woman. it isn't beyond the scope of comprehension any more.

Something, that's exactly what I AM doing, is having fun with it and not limiting myself to date people with penises. Lol. If a woman came along who interested me, I would consider it, whereas a yr ago, I would not.

I love a broad chested, wide shouldered hunk of masculinity with a deep voice and all that men are made of. I have no intention of minimizing that search window.
I am however attracted to feminine, pretty girls. I was a tomboy growing up, but I'm not your stereotypical Butch type so I don't know what, if anything, that means.

I don't think I've ever been with a masculine woman, don't find them attractive. Of course there's a scale for that too ....tomboys would be maybe edging toward the masculine side a bit but still potentially sexy as hell. Sexy, shapely, athletic soccer players, volleyball players, softball players - nom nom nom!

Have to disagree on the softball players... Female soccer players can be hit or miss.... Totally agree on the volleyball players though!

I think that my experience of 38 years has just been very different. In the culture in which I grew up, in my high school, in my circle of college friends, and in my faith, women (or available women) far outnumber men. An average, eligible single man in my world is snatched up quickly. I know it's not as extreme, but it seems similar in the general population - that a man that has a little something going for him may not be able to get the cream of the crop, but he will at least have options that an average woman will not necessarily have.

One of my single buddies recently told me that he has to take monk-like measures to protect the ladies and so as not to have a reputation as a playboy. He only dates one woman at a time and only after weeks or months of knowing her and investigation. If it doesn't work out, he'll go for many months without dating. He told me of two very recent incidents where he hugged someone and told someone else they had a nice dress and they got the wrong ideas, so he has to be careful with conversations and completely platonic touches.

I didn't know it was that extreme because I've been married for a while - which I guess is the other thing. I don't have to worry about dating. And if I did, my life experience tells me that there is an abundance of available women that really want a man. I want everyone woman to have a good man and every man to have a good woman if that's what they choose, but since homosexual and bisexual men slightly outnumber homosexual and bisexual women, I don't see it as particularly disheartening for women to "cross over." If anything, I feel more of a betrayal for a man to go that way because so many want a good man.

Yea, the numbers say there are more available women, but at least in LA, I have never felt that was the case.

Have to be careful with the hugs. I don't initiate a hug with a female unless they are family, very close family friends, or much older ladies (they like it) that I am well acquainted with. Hugging is touching and you should wait for the invitation to hug a female that does not fall in the above three catagories.
