I think a lesbian is a lesbian because she was born that way, not because she's anti male.

So when a woman converts to becoming a lesbian its mainly because she was in denial or was maybe confused about her orientation?

Well I am, but that doesn't make me a lesbian, I've never turned against men.

Oh Something, I've lived with two different guys before I met my current G/F, I do like both genders, but I only prefer the female gender at this point in time.

Jen, I'm as threatened by you thinking your charms can get any woman as I am by you thinking that men are intellectually inferior. The reason I came in on the discussion was because Something expressed some real discomfort at what I think are false ideas.

I find it odd that you would feel personally threatened. Jen was describing her abilities and approach with women, even attached women. Given her confidence, obvious intelligence and beauty, I believe her. I might not dare her to sleep with my SO, but I'm certainly not threatened by it. Relationships are more than sex deep ...

As for women believing that they are intellectually superior to men .... are there women who don't? I constantly hired woman smarter than me (and I think I'm pretty smart) and I loved to date uber bright women. You can learn so much from them and, better than that, their intelligence picked me. How cool is that!

I agree with you about smart women being cool. I've noticed something interesting about the way I process female versus male smarts. Men don't really engage much emotion from me whether they're foolish or especially sharp. But while I find a wise woman extremely attractive, female stupidity angers me. I haven't quite figured that aspect of myself out yet. Maybe it's because of the way that women influence? I don't know...
