Ok Mag, thanks. Then you're probably on the right track imo, fwiw.

Have you known beautiful women that have been rejected?

I'm personally getting very angry at having to reveal all of this. I'm already hearing voices of old naysayers putting me down

Was there ever anything of substance that the naysayers said tho? I've known beautiful women who've been rejected, yeah ....it happens to everybody at least once.

Rejection is part of life. Why did Sandra Bullock's husband leave her for a tattooed woman? Even socially defined beautiful women get rejected. If you approach a man who is in love with somebody else, you will get rejected. Even if you are the perfect woman in every way. Or maybe you approach a man while he is nursing a broken heart. Rejected is not all about you. Rejection is about him as well. And about mutual attraction, the right timing, the right setting, the right personality mix, etc. I know it's easier said than done, but don't take it personally.

No, those naysayers had issues themselves.

I know I have rejected people that are good catches-Smart, handsome, caring, easy to talk to, etc.

In romance, good looks can get your foot in the door. Prettier women may get more attention, but unless you have substance, people of substance just aren't going to keep putting up with you. They may have more success with a guy that wants some arm candy or a trophy wife.

I was saying goodbye at a certain place (where this man frequents, as well as other friends), I decided that I had nothing to lose by talking to him in private. Some may call it undignified or needy to get closure, but I didn't care this time. I'm moving and will never see him again. I wanted to hear what he had to say.

He said that I didn't do anything wrong, AND that he had a girlfriend WHILE he was seeing me. I asked him, "Why did you invite me over then?" He said, "You didn't ask me. I still had a lot of fun. Did you?" He said he was getting concerned about things continuing between him and I, while he had a gf. He says his gf at the time didn't know about him seeing other girls. I had misinterpreted his break-up text as "I'm going back to someone." No woman wants to hear that she was a side girl. I was shocked when he told me that he was okay with having sex with other women, while he had a girlfriend back then.

Good riddance. Glad to know that the guy was unfaithful and grateful that it ended! Will someone tell me why someone would invite someone over, when they're seeing someone else? Why couldn't he just say, "no thanks. I have a girlfriend.

As for that therapist, I want to tell her, "Um..the guy was unavailable! That's why he's not pursuing." Geez.
