It took close to 2 hours for the doctor to place them and for me to recover. I cried and cried and needed several shots of pain medicine during the procedure. And this was after the Vallium and Vicodine I took prior to starting the procedure. After 2 kids, I thought that I had experienced the most pain I'd ever experience...nope! After the 2nd day I was fine, but the first day and the day of the procedure were pure ! I couldn't move without being in pain and I was so sick to my stomach. The doctor and nurse said that it would be fine and that my procedure wasn't normal and that it was harder than most. Lucky me...
It is now 2 years after the procedure and I now have sharp cramps in my ovaries, the right more than the left and have maybe 2 periods a year. When I have a bm it feels like I am being stabbed in my ovaries and when I am with my husband I feel the same thing. It is so bad that there are times where I make excuses not to or go and sit in the bathroom and cry afterwards.
I am going in to have my yearly done and demanding an ultrasound and more to see why this is happening to me!!
