I stumbled across this site and am going to call my doctor tomorrow! I never knew that all of these symptoms that I am having could be related to the Essure. If anyone knows of a class action suit, please let me know. We contacted an attorney in 2006 that told us the company would rake us through the coals and claim we didn't love our son. I would love to provide any help that I can!!!!!
    I HAVE AN UPDATE!

I had surgery on July 1st to have the coils removed! The doctor opened me up laproscopically and found the right coil attached to the outside of my right ovary! She successfully removed it with no problems! I now am sleeping through the night and the back pain is gone!

We need to fight to have these removed from the market! I, along with a lot of other women, have spent alot of money on medical bills to correct those problems!

So glad you have found relief. Please make a report to the maude FDA database. That is one way to make sure that the problems with this procedure are known. If you have any problems making a report, let me know & I'll be glad to help. Stay in touch via the forums for info on what is going on with this product.

And this last one was seven days late which is weird for me because mine are 28 days apart always. anyway about a week ago I started having movement in my tummy. I've had three other children so I know quickening in pregnancy well. I could swear there is a baby in there. Since you've been through a pregnancy after essure I was wondering if you had any bleeding through it. Also I had a blood test last week but it showed negative.
I had mine done around 2008 and never had any problems... just like you said. everything and just same... i pee a lot and having a bad headaches lately but no heart burn which i never had any when i had my 2 kids, though and feel something moving around in my tummy too but my boyfriend keep telling me it's just smoatch that moving "poop" around (lol) and i said, i know how it feels when i was pregnant and you don't know two thing about it. ahaha.

So anyway, it came negative and have my period every month, but on werid days, like late or early.

So i don't know what im suppose to do right now and this monday, i might just ask my doctor to see if they can just take a pee test on me again to make sure and maybe to make undersound again to make sure nothings in my tummy.

I hope I'm not pregnant! arghh.

Help! I had essure done in february of 2009. It did take 8 months for my both of my ubes to be totally blocked. My husband joined the military in september of 2009 and now i am dealing with military doctors who dont know aht the heck they are talking about. they are telling me that my tubes are not blocked now and they will terminate the pregnancy immediately because there is a chance of cornucopal ? preganancy! help i have heard through this forum that women have gotten pregnant after the hsg came back and both tubes were blocked.... i am worried and want civilian drs who are specialist with the essure to talk to or someone that has a similar situation.

Hi! Print some of the maude fda adverse events reports to show them. There is a clinic in Florida that can remove them without doing a hysterectomy. I believe it is called Chapel Hills. I know you can find it by google. Just key in essure removal & their website should come up. Suggest that your drs talk to them & look at some of the reports where women had them sucessfully removed. Also there have been several reports where women who became pregnant were able to carry child to term without any complications. Do some research & you may have to insist that they do something. If you've read many of the posts you will find posts where the drs refused to admit that the essure metal coils may be the problem or worse yet they told them they couldn't be removed.

                  Hi Everyone!!!

After the removal of the Essure, I still feel great!!! I am having issues with my back muscles adjusting from the tensing up that I had done for nearly 6 months of pain. My muscles are very sore and stiff at times, but I antispate that going away soon. They are just very adapt to me having pain and I was so used to the pain that I tensed up and now it is almost habit forming for me to still tense up.

but all is still well!!!! All the symptoms have subsided and now I have regular periods....I am so excited to finally feel normal again..

However I wanted to let all of you know that I DID have the nickel sensitivity test and it was NEGATIVE!!!! I AM NOT ALLERGIC TO NICKEL!!!!

the only thing that my doctor has said to explain the issues is that my tubes could have been hypersensitive!!!! After MORE than 5k in medical bills in 6 months

PLEASE ANYONE READING THIS DO NOT DO ESSURE!!!!!!! IF THERE IS PROBLEMS, IT IS HARDER TO GET THEM TAKEN OUT AND CONVINCE A DOCTOR SOMETHING IS WRONG....REGARDLESS OF HOW EASY THE PROCEDURE MAY BE....

Many women have carried a baby full term with the Essure. A cornucopal preganancy is one that the fetus is inside the part of the tube that connects to the uterus. More or less it is a tubal or etopic pregnancy if that makes any sense to you. I would do your research and have your facts to give to them. Kym4 is right about the FDA website. I had to print out some reports from there to give to my doctor. It is awful how we have to be our own healthcare researcher. Have you thought about talking to the doctor that put in the Essure for you?

                      essure removal

Hi! I had essure done 3 1/2 years ago. It has caused nothing but pain and problems since then. I have terrible pain in my abdomen and extremely painful, heavy and long periods. I also have pain during intercourse. I have had ultrasounds done- which were normal & told my dr I think the problems were caused by essure. Of course they don't think so. I would really like to have them removed. For those of you that have had them removed, how did you go about it? Did your regular ob/gyn remove them? I have found a couple of medical centers that specialize in tubal reversal that also perform essure reversal. Would I need to go somewhere like that? Should I have an xray done first to make sure the coils are still in place? Lastly, the centers I mentioned before charge approx. $7000.00 for the procedure. Is that what I should expect to pay? Sorry for so many questions, I just want to know what I'm getting into and get this nightmare over with. Thanks!!
