So I went to the ER yesterday and had myself checked out. It took them 7 hours but I was told that the coils look in place after my CT. The blood and urine samples came back fine and no pregnancy. However, there is a problem with my cervix. They did cultures that won't be back for 2-3 days and had me make a follow up with my GYN for today as an emergency appt. They were adimint about me making the appt for today. They were extremely busy and it was getting late so they didn't call their own in to look at me as long as i promised to see my mine today. Not sure what is happening yet or even if it's from the essure. However, this did not accure until after the procedure which leads me to beleive it is. I am only 27 yrs old and a mother of 2 young boys. I really don't need to be dealing with this. I would not recommend the essure to anyone either way.
Has anyone had cervical problems after the procedure?Comment

I had the procedure done in 2008 as well, after the procedure I would have cramping only with my period and when I ovulated. In Dec 2009 I found out I was pregnant. Was totally unexpected since I had the HSG and Dr said it worked. I now have a 5 month old boy, pregnancy and delivery went well, there were no issues with the essure. However, after having the baby, the cramps have gotten a lot worse. I have cramps all the time now, and when I'm ovulating and on my period the cramps are debilitating, I can't walk, hurts to stand, I have to load myself up with ibuprofen and lay in bed.Comment

Im glad to hear your pregnancy went well. I have a questions I asked my doc about periods after the essure and she told me there would not be any complications with menstrual and not to worry Could it really be the essure that is causing the cramps. I am so worried now. I have been on the depo and should be coming off it this coming week. I had my procedure in Nov and have not offically hit my 3 months so I will be taking my test soon.Comment

Essure
I was actually in my drs. office on monday to get this procedure done and it was unsuccessful. They could not get the tubing into the left fallopian tube like they could the right one. The dr decided not to do it because it does not make sense to do one and not the other. I was a little disappointed that I was not able to get it done but after reading some of these posts, maybe it is better that I did not get it done and that it did not work!!Comment
