    pot calls the kettle

The only reason I'm responding to the post of
Blue Moon is to indicate that my previous post
was made on the fifth day of June.

There were no further posts until today; when
Blue Moon posted. Today is the 12th.

Most Attorneys are rather careful when they
deal with documents, even posts on an MB so
    as not to appear incompetent.

Interestingly, in garbled English, (one wonders
what Law School accepts persons who can not
write the English language properly, i.e. grammar,
    tense, etc.)

.man you're really mean for nothing...That's my point and I'm sticking by it so...Deal with it..and please no more People bashing!

One ponders the intent of such a statement.
But then, were one to begin to question the bona
fides of the poster, it would be rather an extensive
    exercise.

I am a grown woman and will not be lectured to by some "almost" lawyer. Anyway, good luck with that; with your reasoning skills you are gonna need it.
Secondly, if someone posts tripe like this on a public forum, they had better be prepared to deal with any and all responses. Like I told tinkerbell and the rest, if you don't like it too bad. Your problem not mine.

You have to be able to look someone in the eye and give them a fair read of their situation; even if it's something they don't want to hear. If people want compassion, they go to their moms or a shrink. If they want solutions to their legal problems, they go to the lawyer.

You are not helping her by enabling her self pity and lack of self esteem. She should think more of herself than this and be unwilling to put up with some loser.

The only one I have any compassion for anymore is the innocent child in this case. By putting off getting that court order, she is allowing this man to hide assets and whatever else he needs to hide so that he will be too "poor" to give any financial assistance to his own child. That is sad. And to make it worse, her mother lacks the guts and or willness to fight for her. Poor kid.

One of the things you learn, after your first few months
of practice is not to lie to a client. Not to tell them they'll
get a million dollars or be acquitted. It is your duty to do
the best for your client. If that means pleading them to
a lesser charge because the evidence is so overwhelming
that after that first witness you know you won't be able
to pull a rabbit out of the hat; than that is what you
            must do.

From the first post of Drama I could tell you everything
that was going to happen. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised
if he rang her up last week, and told her,
"cool it, let me deal with my wife and we'll soon be together."
And she's been thrown into complete ecstacy!

Six months from now, when Don is a 'pauper', (having
given away all his property), and Drama gets nothing,
(or maybe a whole screw for herself), maybe, just
maybe grows a brain, and goes after him because she
finally realises, that despite all the hugs and smilies
that have been posted by her 'compassionate' supporters,
she should have listened to those miserable, cold, cruel
lawyers, who just so happen to know what they are
            talking about.

The tragedy, as I indicated in my first post, is that
Drama's case is text book. And it follows certain
            patterns.

The sudden exit of the lover, the silence, the need
for the woman to take action, which she usually
delays to the extent that the lover has endless time
            to move assets.

And remember, with no Court case 'hanging over his
head', with no 'official' demand for DNA, his transfer
of property can NOT be seen as an attempt to
deny the mother of his child, as until judicial notice
is taken of the situation...there is no situation.

When involved in war or any contest, anticipation of the other guy's game plan and plan of attack is vital. Having this information or at least some idea of what it is, makes it easier to formulate one's own battle plan. That's why we have spy organizations. To scope out strengths and weaknesses of our enemies.

Kay and I told you what this guy is doing and how you should respond; I hope that you listen.

You remember bluemoon or whatever your name is, your job as a lawyer is to zealously advocate for your client. That means being prepared; they have to tell you the truth and you have to be honest with them about their predicament. That is not always easy and sometimes you have to tell them things they may not want to hear. That goes with the territory.

You are not being kind by allowing someone to continue in self deception. This is the worst kind of cruelty. Drama is fooling herself if she believes that this man every loved her or her child. He does not care about the welfare of his daughter; if he did, he would find some way to give her financial support; if he wanted to do this there are a number of ways he could accomplish this; why does he need a dna test or a court order to make him step up to the plate. And yet, she holds out hope; she cannot see the writing on the wall. And you all let her cry and mope about this. Kay and I want her to mobilize. I hate to see a woman and child living in poverty because some sorry man won't step up to the plate and take responsibility without the law breathing down his neck. But if that's what it takes to keep them out of the breadline and off the public dole, then so be it.

Is that where they teach us how to tend Bar?
                  Bar School?
                  Lord I missed that...!
                  Thanks for seeing it!

                  I love it!

I wonder which Bar School Blue Moon is attending?
                  It is O'Malleys or TGIF?

I attended law school. Never heard of the bar school. I imagine a bar school student's schedule looks something like this:

                    Evidence 8:30 a.m.
                    Mixed Drinks 11:00 a.m.
                    Criminal Law 3:00 p.m.
How to Recognize when someone has had enough 4:30 p.m.

She's probably attending "Cheers" - Sam Malone is the Dean.
