I tried to do a search on Brittish divorce laws. Had a hard time convincing my search engine that I was serious (I'm Not a computer person) Did find an article about a debate in changes in the law - in 1924!? But not much useful that is current, although it does appear there is some lack of consistant opinion on things. Do try to talk to someone, find out what you will need. You've been through this before, you know better than any of us what the laws are. Bet if you did a search you would find some information.

What would you be doing if you hadn't married this man? How would you be supporting yourself and your kids? What would be different?

Why are your kids lazy? Who allows that? You set the standards.
What is better being married to him?
What would you have done if you hadn't married him?

Guess at 41 you can do one of two things.

"Believe" that you have to be with someone because your bored and lonley and want better than a grotty house

              or:

"Know" that your worth more and will find a job you like eventually, even if you have to gain jobs you don't like to start with, tell those kids that your moving and that they will be given chores from now on as your life has changed, and "believe" that you don't have to settle with any guy just cause your lonley rather you are going to have fun and live life and find someone who loves you.

Good for you Cass... why not tell us what you are applying for and how and see if we can help with ideas?

And, you will find someone who is not trying to get you to find some money to get a better DVD player, tell him to buy his own...

i dont have many sklls imafraid ive only really ever worked with animals, but here in a town theres not any stables close enough to get too

ive done some shop work cleaning etc but to be honest, im not very experienced at much not many jobs about but im applying for anything really, kitchen jobs, cleaning, selling and shop work but no one seems to offer me a job, plus i had a long spell without work as i was brnging up a family i dnt have a cv

omg yesyour so right about himafter another dvd player spot on! he was looking online at dolby surround cinema systems etc very expensive!
we got a cheap dvd player that was on offer at a store a few weeks back, but it had no sound, so we took it back and got another, that one is now acting up too, so hubby has been screeching at me saying its my own faualt as i never liste to him! his words i tld you not to get the same one again, but you never listen!! perhaps next timeyou will do as you are told woman!

!! perhaps next timeyou will do as you are told woman!
PFTTT.... Off course I am right, so is everyone else that communicate here with you, cause the writing is on the wall, he is a selfish spoilt brat, that his Mother is soooo glad that it's you not her that has to deal with it, which she helped create by not getting him help hey....

Don't you dare... You say I DON'T HAVE ANY MORE MONEY, none... deal with it......

The glasses, the DVD, Dad's money..

Have you told Dad? Or still a bit scared?

CV.... ring all your past people you worked for and ask that they give you a testimonial of the work you did for them, that will become your resume.

Then type your name, address, age, time worked with each one, and then write, I am an enthusiast person, I love all types of work it makes me happy to achieve... I have been a Mother for 17 years, in-between jobs and love looking after my children and my house but I crave achievements and staying at home does not assist with this goal.

I am loyal, honest and a hard worker.. Given the opportunity, you will be pleased with the results of my work.

I am a good commuicator and strive on maintaining standards of my employers.

I look forward to the opportunity to work for you.

Now again I stress DO NOT BUY ANOTHER DVD for this loser, or else... haha (laughing?) better be.

Time to play dumb... I can't I don't have a job, I don't have any money and I owe quite a bit so even when I get a job I don't have any money, you'll have to ask your Mother to help you this time.
