Fleshlight Quickshot Launch Review: A Realistic Handjob Better Than The Real Thing

The Fleshlight Quickshot Launch offers the best of both worlds: the handjob you’d give yourself, but from someone else’s hand.

We love Fleshlight Quickshots for their incredible versatility and the mind-blowing pleasure they provide, but we discovered they’re even better when paired with the Quickshot Launch.

This Fleshlight accessory is an automatic masturbator that turns your favorite Quickshot into a handjob machine — and jerking off will never be the same.

Automates Your Quickshot
Fleshlight Quickshot Launch
4.8
$179.95
Pros:
  • Automatic Stroking Action: Base, Shaft Or Tip
  • Up To 250 Strokes Per Minute
  • Intuitive Controls, No-Slip Hand Grip
  • ~60 Minutes Of Playtime, Can Be Used While Charging
  • Smartphone Mount, Fits All Quickshot Fleshlights
Cons:
  • Pretty Noisy & Takes Getting Used To
  • Quickshots Are Open-Ended So Fluids Can Hit Your Phone
  • ~90 Minutes To Charge
  • You MUST Keep It Charged
  • Expensive; Not Waterproof
Decibel Level: 51 to 75 dB [Note: 40-50 dB is considered quiet; 40 is the sound of a refrigerator hum; 60 is a normal conversation; 70 is a washing machine or dishwasher]
Bottom Line: The Quickshot Launch may be smaller than the Universal, but it packs just as much power and pleasure. Lighter in weight and easy to control, it feels like a handjob, operating at a range of speeds and depths to suit your needs, plus you can play while it charges. The battery must not ever run out, however — not only can it break the (expensive) device, but it will void the 90-day warranty, too.
$161.96 @ Fleshlight –> CODE: WHI10

Like the Fleshlight Universal Launch, which accommodates full-sized Fleshlights (and some other cased pocket pussies and strokers), the Quickshot Launch is a fast and easy way to automate your playtime.

After testing it myself with several different Quickshots (including the Riley Reid and Vantage), I can tell you that the Quickshot Launch is as fun to use as it is easy to set up and control.

Honestly, after a few minutes, it won’t even feel like you are controlling it at all, thanks to the super intuitive button controls.

I’ll tell you everything you need to know about how the Quickshot Launch performed — and why you should say “hello” to your own personal hand jibber robot.

Our Research, Testing & Review Methodology:

  • Fleshlight Quickshot Launch Specifications: Quality construction that offers realistic movement with up to 250 strokes per minute across four stroke lengths; comfortable fit with adjustable positioning for base, shaft, or tip focus; excellent performance; and an intuitive user-friendly design.
  • Tested By: Justin Perlman
  • Total Research Time: 5 hours across 2 weeks (as of 10/25/2023)

Editor’s note: The manual for the Fleshlight Quickshot Launch warns that the device batteries must never be allowed to discharge fully (be run down completely), as it’s possible they will no longer be able to accept a charge if that happens.

Additionally, failure to maintain a charge on the battery will void Fleshlight’s 90-day warranty.

Our Hands-On Experience Using The Fleshlight Quickshot Launch

animated gif of product tester justin holding the fleshlight quickshot launch automatic masturbator with the device moving a quickshot stroker up and down in a loop to demonstrate its stroking mechanism

After trying out the Fleshlight Universal Launch, an automatic masturbator that accommodates full-sized Fleshlights (and some other cased pocket pussies) it was back to the salt mines to test out the Quickshot launch.

(My life is so hard.)

The Quickshot Launch is noticeably smaller than the Universal Launch, which I expected — Quickshot strokers are about half the size of a standard Fleshlight and they’re open-ended on both sides.

photograph of product tester justin holding up the fleshlight universal launch on the left and the fleshlight quickshot launch on the right with title text and arrows pointing to each to demonstrate their design differences

The Quickshot Launch features the exact same handle controls as the Universal: Stroke Position, Stroke Length, and Stroke Speed.

I appreciated the consistency between models because when you already know how to use one type of Launch, the other will come naturally.

The Quickshot Launch provides a similar spot for your phone at the top of the device, using the mount you prefer (there are three to choose from), but there were two major design differences that really stood out when compared to the Universal.

photograph of product tester justin holding up the fleshlight quickshot launch automatic handjob machine while looking at it as though considering its weight and overall design

The first is the open back on the device.

I’m assuming the Quickshot Launch needs a smaller motor since the strokers used with this one are much more compact, but that open back also makes the entire mechanism lightweight when compared to the Universal Launch.

The second major design difference is how the masturbation sleeve attaches to the device.

photograph of product tester justin attaching a quickshot stroker into the cradle of the fleshlight quickshot launch with text overlay that reads: attaching a quickshot to its launch is easy — set it inside the cradle, turn, and click into place

Instead of the ski-boot-like clasp the Universal has, the Quickshot Launch uses a cradle design: simply place the Quickshot stroker in the holder, turn it clockwise, and it locks into place quickly and easily.

Along with many offerings from Fleshlight, this is a simple yet brilliant bit of functional design, as is the way the light on the side blinks while the unit is charging and becomes solid when it’s finished.

photograph of product tester justin holding the fleshlight quickshot launch to display the red charging light on the side with text overlay that reads: blinking red light = charging and solid red light = fully charged

As for how well this bad boy functions, it works just like the Universal Launch (up to 250 strokes per minute across four stroke lengths and speeds, with focus on the base, shaft, or tip as you prefer) with the same level of intuitive control.

The biggest difference in performance comes down to the fact that you are using a Quickshot pocket pussy and not a standard Fleshlight.

With the double-ended design of a Quickshot, this feels more like an automatic handjob machine.

As someone who will die on the hill that a well-performed hand jibber rivals blow jobs — or even penetrative sex in some cases — that really got my attention.

Jerking off feels great, but you know it’s your own hand while you’re doing it.

Although you manually set the stroke to your liking on the Quickshot Launch, something else is stroking you.

photograph of product tester justin leaning back while holding the fleshlight quickshot launch over his clothed groin to demonstrate its placement during use

It’s the best of both worlds: the handjob you’d give yourself, but from someone else’s hand.

The first Quickshot I tested in this Launch was the Riley Reid Quickshot, which has two different-sized openings on either end.

I chose it specifically to see how easy it would be to switch between the vagina and anus, which turned out to be super easy.

Just hit pause on the Quickshot Launch, flip the stroker, click it back into place, and you’re off to the races again!

photograph of product tester justin flipping and reinserting a quickshot stroker into the fleshlight quickshot launch during testing

I tried other Quickshots, like the Vantage, with the same amount of ease.

That being said, I would recommend being careful if you decide to add some suction to the party by leaving the cap on the end of the stroker.

If you’re going to do this while using the Quickshot Launch, my best advice is to take it slow to find your preferred stroke level and depth so you can avoid hitting your erect penis with the end cap.

(That genuinely didn’t happen to me, but it did cross my mind while testing.)

The Quickshot Launch worked a treat, but the biggest downside is what happens when you’re ready to pop.

Since a Quickshot masturbator is open at both ends, there is nothing to catch your explosive ejaculation.

photograph of product tester justin holding up the fleshlight quickshot launch with one finger passing through the quickshot stroker to demonstrate it being open ended with text overlay that reads: quickshots are open ended so things are potentially in the splash zone when you ejaculate

This means everything is potentially in the splash zone — including your phone.

Cleanup aside, the Fleshlight Quickshot Launch is a banger.

It operates a bit more quietly compared to the Universal Launch — but not by much; our testing recorded that the sound level ranged from 51 to 75 decibels (somewhere between a quiet conversation and louder than a washing machine).

photograph of the quickshot universal launch decibel testing with a hand holding a phone screen displaying a reading of 62 db; the sound level ranged from 51 to 75 dB during our team's testing

As with the Universal Launch, you may find it’s easier to enjoy your porn (and hear it!) if you’re listening to it through earbuds or headphones.

Noise aside, the Fleshlight Quickshot Launch is an excellent and easy way to get an incredible hand job that is as intuitive to use as your own hand.

What Is The Fleshlight Quickshot Launch?

photograph of product tester justin holding up the box that the fleshlight quickshot launch came in before testing it out himself

The Quickshot Launch is a proprietary accessory from Fleshlight that automates masturbation by holding and moving your Quickshot stroker for you during use.

The Quickshot Launch can only be used with Fleshlight Quickshots.

You should try a Quickshot Launch if you:

  • Enjoy handjobs or penile stimulation more when they’re coming from someone (or something) else.
  • Desire automated stroking without intense manual effort.
  • Are looking for ways to make jerking off more innovative or immersive.
  • Seek greater variety in stroke and sensation (especially compared to manual stimulation with your hand, with or without a pocket pussy).
  • Already know you like the way Fleshlight Quickshots feel and want to experience them in a new way.
  • Are not looking for an automatic masturbator that offers interactive features (such as app control or VR connectivity).

How Does The Fleshlight Quickshot Launch Work?

photograph of product tester justin holding up the fleshlight quickshot launch automatic handjob machine in his hand to display its design

The Quickshot Launch has a cradle that allows a Quickshot masturbator to “snap” into place, holding it (and moving it) as you control the stroke length and speed using the buttons conveniently located on the handles.

Although the stroking itself is entirely hands-free and fully automated by the Launch, your hands will still need to hold the mechanism as it’s being operated.

How Do I Use The Fleshlight Quickshot Launch?

Here are the basic steps on how to use the Quickshot Launch, but make sure to read through the manual for greater detail.

  • Ensure the Quickshot Launch is fully charged or plugged in.
  • Place your preferred Quickshot into the holder and give it a small turn to lock it in place.
  • Hold down the power button for a few seconds until the Quickshot moves into place and the control buttons flash.
  • If needed, hit the Power/Pause button and then the Position button to get the Quickshot into place. Hit the Power/Pause button again to keep the Quickshot still.
  • Apply lube to the Fleshlight Quickshot and/or your penis.
  • Insert your penis into the Quickshot and hit Power/Pause to get it going.
  • Control the stroke length and speed with the buttons for each, as desired.
  • Once finished, give the whole unit a wipe-down and cleaning (you may need to remove the cell phone holder to get any sneaky semen hiding in the screw holes), and be sure to clean and dry your Quickshot stroker.

Thanks to the smartphone holder on the Quickshot Launch, you can attach your phone to watch porn, using the controls on the Launch to manage the speed and stroke patterns to match what’s happening on the screen, if you like.

This lets you get in on the action in a more immersive way, especially if using a virtual reality (VR) headset or watching point-of-view (POV) porn.

One thing you’ll want to note, however, is that Quickshots are an open-ended style of pocket pussy or stroker.

When you reach orgasm using the Quickshot Launch, semen can pass upward through the top opening of the Quickshot, potentially landing on not only the device but your phone, as well.

Fleshlight Quickshot Launch Top Features

There is a lot to love about the Quickshot Launch beyond how great it feels — this puppy is designed for maximum ease and fun.

Here are some of the top features of the Fleshlight Quickshot Launch that really make it stand out as an amazing automatic masturbator:

  • Stroke & Speed Controls
  • Open Back
  • Three Different Cell Phone Holders
  • Quickshot Mount
  • Ergonomic Grips

Intuitive Stroke & Speed Controls

A major issue with adding automated sex toys to your pleasure routine involves the equipment disrupting your sense of immersion during use.

This can happen if the device breaks down mid-stroke, for instance, but more often than not the issue arises when the toy requires extra thought and effort to operate — which pulls you out of the moment.

The super intuitive control buttons on the Quickshot Launch offer a tactile solution.

With a simple click up or down — the buttons being in a natural position that requires little thought — you can quickly change up the speed and length of the strokes.

Besides the fact that I love a non-touchscreen or app-based toy, the placement and usage of the buttons help enhance the immersion thanks to how easy and quick they are to use.

After a few minutes, you don’t even think about it.

It’s almost like playing a video game.

You’ll reflexively vary the action without even noticing, making it seem like the machine has a mind of its own.

Open Back

photograph of product tester justin attaching a cell phone holder to the fleshlight quickshot launch with a great view of the large open back of the device's design

This is a big difference, design-wise, from the Universal Launch.

With Quickshots being smaller, the Quickshot Launch simply doesn’t need as strong of a motor, and the track for the motion itself is located off to the side.

This allows for the back of the unit to be removed completely.

That cuts down on weight, naturally, but it also makes cleaning easier.

As I mentioned earlier, there will probably be a fair amount of splatter after reaching orgasm when using the Quickshot Launch.

Having an open back cuts down on the surface area that you would normally need to wipe down.

Plus, it allows for a nifty little handle for easier transport.

Three Different Cell Phone Holders

photograph of product tester justin holding the cell phone holder he attached to his automatic masturbator after choosing it from three provided options that come with the device

This feature of the Quickshot Launch is just a thoughtful design choice that allows you to use your desired style of cell phone holder, based on your device.

The first available holder is pretty much just a shelf with a wee lip to hold most phones in place surprisingly well.

The second is similar but has a clamping function for extra security, which can be tightened with a simple screw on the back.

The third smartphone holder is a magnetic disk — one side sticks to the back of your phone and locks into place on the end attached to the Launch.

Is all that really necessary?

No, but it is nice that folks have an option.

It just furthers the idea that the good people at Fleshlight really look at their products from every angle for the best customer experience possible.

Quickshot Mount

close up photograph of the fleshlight quickshot launch with the focus on the plastic cradle at the center that holds the stroker in place during use

This just tickles me a bit.

Quickshots have plastic caps that don’t screw on as much as they lock into place.

The Quickshot Launch uses this feature to its advantage by making the Quickshot mount work in the same way.

This not only secures the Quickshot, but the speedy twist-and-click lets you swap out Quickshots or turn them over in a snap.

Being able to switch around Quickshots is a beautiful but simple feature for people who like a bit of variety, even mid-spank.

Ergonomic Grips

photograph of product tester justin holding the fleshlight quickshot launch against his lap using the ergonomic no-slip handles to demonstrate its use

The Quickshot Launch isn’t entirely hands-free, but the grips are comfortable enough that you barely notice your hands being involved.

They are hard plastic but are molded to comfortably fit most hand sizes.

The design, along with ridged sections for the palms, offers a comfortable but secure grip that allows you to easily hold the device in place and manipulate the controls.

Even when my hands were slick and slippery with FleshLube, I never had an issue keeping the Quickshot Launch in place.

The Pros And Cons Of The Fleshlight Quickshot Launch

photograph of product tester justin holding the fleshlight quickshot launch in one hand as though testing its weight while considering its pros and cons

Automated masturbation is next-level exciting and the Quickshot Launch delivered some explosive orgasms in my experience, but nothing is absolutely perfect.

I’ll share the good and the not-so-great aspects below.

Fleshlight Quickshot Launch Pros

  • Lighter and quieter compared to the Universal Launch
  • Easy to use and set up
  • Intuitive controls with varied speed and stroke length
  • Adjustable positioning
  • Quickshots snap into place easily (and firmly)
  • Fluid stroking movement feels amazing

Fleshlight Quickshot Launch Cons

  • Quickshots are open-ended so ejaculate can land on the device or your phone screen
  • Caution is required if using your Quickshot with the cap on, as the insertable channel isn’t all that deep and you could “bump” the end of your penis on the cap
  • It is not quite as loud as the Universal Launch, but it is still noisy (51 to 75 dB — ranging from a quiet conversation to louder than a washing machine)
  • Takes some getting used to for maximum fun
  • Not entirely hands-free because you still have to hold the handles
  • You absolutely must make sure to keep your battery charged (more on that below)
  • Although it costs a bit less compared to the Universal Launch, it is still expensive

The biggest word of warning we need to share about the Quickshot Launch battery is this:

You MUST keep it charged.

According to the manual, if the battery fully runs all the way down, it may not be able to accept a charge again in the future.

On top of that, the manual also states that “failing to maintain a charge on your battery will void your 90-day warranty.”

Given the cost associated with the Quickshot Launch, keeping it charged is an important part of its maintenance.

If you don’t use it often (or for long periods of time), it’s worth making sure you periodically charge it to protect your investment over the long term.

Is The Fleshlight Quickshot Launch Safe?

photograph of product tester justin holding the fleshlight quickshot launch handjob machine while studying it closely, concept being how safe it is to use for masturbation

Yes, the Fleshlight Quickshot Launch is very safe when it’s used according to the instruction manual, but there are still some things to keep in mind.

Here are some safety considerations you should know about:

  • Materials: The Quickshot Launch is made from plastic and should not be placed in direct sunlight or stored near a hot surface (which could melt the device).
  • Exposure to water: The Quickshot Launch is NOT waterproof and should never be used in wet environments like the bath, shower, or sauna.
  • Cleaning: Always make sure to clean the device and remove any fluids on the unit (e.g., personal lubricant or semen) to keep it in good working condition. Do not use rubbing alcohol or acetone to clean the surface. You must also clean and dry your Fleshlight as you normally would, separately.
  • Using lube: Fleshlights are compatible only with water-based lubricants. This should be applied to the stroker itself — not the Quickshot Launch. Despite the handles being grooved to improve grip, make sure to remove any excess lube to avoid dropping the machine during use.
  • Battery: The Quickshot Launch offers pass-through charging so you can safely use the device while it’s plugged in and being charged.

Quickshot Launch Vs. Universal Launch

The easiest way to sum up the differences between the Universal Launch and the Quickshot Launch is the fact that the Quickshot Launch is made for Quickshots.

It seems obvious, but it is nice that Fleshlight designed an entirely new device to work with Quickshots instead of just resting on their laurels.

It’s smaller, lighter, and a bit quieter — but just as much of a blast to use.
